THE PROJECT GOAL
At that time, Peter was already a well-known speaker, but the number of his presentations was limited due to the lack of time for submitting proposals. We took full responsibility for all of Peter’s engagements. Additionally, he wanted to increase the number of cinema spots. This would provide a broader audience reach and enhance his reputation as a speaker.

We began collaborating with Peter Zaitsev in 2020. Since he had been collecting statistics on his submissions and talks since 2017, we are able to work with these figures and evaluate our outcomes.
What we did
● Analyzed the most successful topics at the conferences as well as the statistics on the acceptance of Peter’s topics.
● Contacted organizers individually to discuss the topics of greatest interest to them.
● Created an updated list of Peter’s topics and abstracts, categorized by different professional fields.
● Developed an extended calendar of industry events of interest to both Percona and Peter personally.
● Monitored CFP (Call for Papers) deadlines and submitted proposals regularly.
The Result
We doubled the number of submissions and increased the accepted talks to 43 in 2023. The process of engaging with conferences has been systematized and is now managed autonomously. Every month, Peter receives notifications about the events’ names, dates, locations, and topics. He only needs to update his slides.
